It started with the farms. Everything else followed.

about

Most food brands start with a product idea and then go looking for a supply chain. Florabee started the other way around.

Our family has been keeping bees in Central India for years. Long before Florabee existed, before the brand had a name or a jar design or a website, there were hives. There were beekeepers who knew the land. There were flowering seasons that came and went, and honey that was produced quietly, without much ceremony, and sold without much thought given to what made it worth paying attention to.

Single-origin Indian honey. Always.

Every Florabee variant comes from one floral source, harvested from our family farms in Central India and the botanical regions surrounding them. Not blended across sources for consistency. Not processed to remove the character that makes each variety worth knowing. What goes into the jar is what the bees found, and nothing else.

Respect for the source.

At the core of Florabee is a simple belief. The flower is the ingredient. When you protect the botanical source, keep the harvest single-origin, and leave the honey alone after extraction, what you get is something that tastes like a real place. That is not marketing language. It is just what happens when you stop interfering.

Driven by one standard.

We do not blend variants to hit a consistent flavor profile. We do not heat honey beyond what clean filtration requires. We do not use words like immunity or superfood because those words have stopped meaning anything. What we do is source carefully, test every batch, and put it in a jar only when it earns it. That is the standard. It applies to every variant, every season.

From the farms of Central India to your kitchen counter.

Our bee colonies are introduced to specific flowering crops during their bloom season, one botanical source at a time. Ajwain when the ajwain flowers. Mustard during sarson season. Van Tulsi in the forest tracts when wild tulsi opens. This is what single-source harvesting actually looks like in practice. Slower, more deliberate, and entirely worth it.

Tasty!

β€œI was skeptical about the whole single-origin thing. Felt like marketing. Then I actually tasted the Ajwain honey next to my regular one. There is no comparison. This one has something to say.”

The best got better!

β€œI ordered the gifting set for a client and ended up keeping one for myself. The Dhaniya honey alone sold me. I have never had honey that tasted like that. Almost citrusy, really elegant.”

The best got better!

β€œKikar Forest is the one I keep coming back to. It is not light or subtle. It is a whole flavor experience. Goes perfectly with dark chocolate after dinner. It has become a ritual.”
